Exporting and Importing assignment questions

A user with Advanced Editing Instructor permissions can Export assignment questions from one concept and then Import them into a different concept.

  • Select a Concept
  • Click on the Assignments Tab
  • Select a Practice, Quiz or Test
  • Click the Export Questions button on the bottom right

  • Choose the Question Type you would like to Export

Note: you may only export one type at a time (Multiple Choice, Matching or Fill in the Blank)

  • Click Export

This will create a file that you will save to your desktop.

Click on the file then click File then Save the file to your desktop.  Please make note the file name.

  • Remember to repeat the process for different question types if needed

 

To Import this file to another concept, follow these instructions:

  • Select a Concept

  • Complete the Import Form
    • Use the pull-down menu to choose the Question type
    • Use the Browse button to select the file with your questions (the one you just saved to your desktop)
    • Click the Import button

Remember to Import all the different question type files that you exported earlier.
