You can create matching questions on Practice, Quiz, or Test assignments.
- Choose a question type
Click the drop-down menu to select Matching.
- Adding a Point Value
The points assigned to a matching question will default to the same number of matching pairs, however you may change any point value you want to assign to the question.
- Edit matching question details

Click the drop-down menu to choose how many matching pairs you want to have (up to 50).

Type an optional question introduction.

Type your questions and matching answers. Use any of the available tools in the editor. Note: Answers will be shuffled for students.

Add an optional example

Click on the Live button for the question to be accessible to students. If you would like to hide the question from students, turn the Live button to Not Live status.

Once your question is complete, click the Add button
- Test your new question for accuracy
You may test a question as many times as you want. After the first attempt, you may click on the Reset button on the bottom of the screen to reattempt the question.
