Assignments are associated with each concept within a set. Odigia offers three types of assignments: Practice, Quiz, Test.
You may choose which type of assignments to make available to students in each Concept. If there are no assignments associated with a concept, students are instructed to mark the reading as completed using the provided checkbox.
Click on a set to see the assignments that are located within the concepts.
Notice the assignments within a set are either Practice, Quiz or Test. You can click on those to see the assignments.

Click the words Practice, Quiz, or Test to move between the practice, quiz, or test for the specific concept.
Practice
Practice questions will show one at a time. Students can easily navigate through the questions with the arrow buttons located above the question. The number of problems on the assignment is located above the question. This assignment is not graded and students will receive multiple tries on each problem.
Quiz
Quizzes are graded assignments that assess students’ understanding of the concepts within the course. All quiz questions appear on one page. Quizzes are located with concepts and can cover one or multiple concepts depending on the course and the instructor’s preference. Students have one attempt to answer quiz questions.
Release dates and due dates can be set for a quiz. The due date for a quiz will appear above the quiz title. Due dates also appear on the course outline under each concept overview.
If a quiz has a release date that has not yet come, then students will see a message explaining when the assignment becomes available.
Allowing Two Attempts on a Quiz
Follow these steps to allow students to attempt a Quiz two times:
- Click the Grade Assignments button from the homepage
- Click the Settings tab - Please read this article for a more detailed description about assignment settings.

It may be important to change the option for when answers will be shown to the students. You will see a warning displayed at the top of the assignment that reminds you that Odigia recommends for you to choose to release answers after the due date.
Test
Tests are graded assignments that assess students’ understanding of multiple concepts or multiple sets within the course depending on the course and instructor. All test questions appear on one page. Although tests typically assess more than one concept/set, they are located on a concept. Students have one attempt to answer test questions.
Release dates and due dates can be set for a test. The due date for a test will appear above the test title. Due dates also appear on the course outline under each concept overview.
