The Act as User functionality allows the instructor to log in as the user without asking the user for login access. You may take any action as though you are the user. All actions will be considered as if this user performed them.
To act as a user, please follow these steps:
- Go to the Instructor Dashboard in your course
- Click the My Students tab
- Click the 'eye' icon next to the student you want to act as
To stop acting as a user, you should click the Stop acting as button in the header block.
Note: This is a very important step that you must take to reenter your instructor view.
